ahhh ty ty ty that worked - the link you gave me fixed it - i had a couple bad files and remvoed them and now i can save as gif and jpeg thanks again  |

| this just started happening last few weeks on my comp and need it fixed.
Every picture i try and save auto saves to bmp . When i right click on pick and choose where to save it - the drop down ... |
