nuke as in php nuke?? it is just a name for this type of web site. i dont think there is really a single definition for the word.

to be honest i dont think there is a definition for the word nuke. i think it was just the name give to this type of web site.

forum blocks are referred to a block which contains forum material and is often featured in the centre of a phpnuke sites main page. We used to have them on here. If you bear with me i will get an example.

Modules are what the options that are featured on the left hand navigation menu on this very site. the forums are a module, downloads are a module.

Best way to really explain it is a module is one section of a phpnuke site.
