A lot of questions for a Mod as this, (sorry for that icon_redface.gif )
Your Mods i have installed are well documented and where NO PROBEMO icon_biggrin.gif

I hoop that you still want to help me whit this icon_question.gif

Dont mess with the glance config default i believe is fine if not you can change later.

Copy it to your modules/forums root directory

Put it on the index_body.tpl of every theme you want it on.

Hi all ,

I am having the same problem with not able to put up new blocks etc.. I have nuke 7.3 and I have changed my module.php to

sql_query("insert into ".$prefix."_modules values (NULL, '$modlist[$i]', '$modlist[$i]', '0', '0', '1', '0', '0')", $dbi);

and blocks to

$db->sql_query("INSERT INTO ".$prefix."_modules VALUES (NULL, '$modlist[$i]', '$modlist[$i]', '0', '0', '1', '1', '0')");


now i am getting this error on my home page upper left side

} } if ($a == 1 AND $dummy != 1) { $content .= "· "._NONE."
\n"; } } ?>


Can anyone help me here?? what is this error?

Attach whatever file you edited looks like you have an error in it. Also the needed change should be made to admin/modules/blocks.php

I have done the Block one also and that is when i got this error. Do you know what kind of error this is?? I am Very New at this icon_cry.gif Where do I need to look?

Hey all,

I have been scouring the internet on some tips to try and get my blocks working again. I can edit, delete, activate etc. But I can no longer add blocks to my site. It just goes right back to the screen without adding anything. I was able to insert a row into my database directly but I don't always have access to my database (firewall from work).

Things I have tried:
-reinstalling a new block.php from 7.0 (the version i am running)
-Installing a 6.9 blocks.php
-Installing a 7.1 blocks.php
-Dropping the database and redoing, then trying to import my data (I get an error about columns or some sort)
-I've also tried a fresh install of the tables in nuke_blocks, then going to admin.php and readding the blocks 1 by 1 without success.
- My modules.php has this code:
$db->sql_query("insert into ".$prefix."_modules values (NULL, '$modlist[$i]', '$modlist[$i]', '0', '0', '1', '0')");

-my blocks-modules.php has this code:
$db->sql_query("INSERT INTO ".$prefix."_modules VALUES (NULL, '$modlist[$i]', '$mod_uname', '0', '0', '1', '0')");

I have tried all the flavors that I cande find for code changes in those two files without anyluck.


Every other post that I can find hasn't worked, or isn't quite the same problem I am having.

Can anyone offer any other suggestions?

I figured it out on my own suprisingly. Here's how..


I am running 7.0 and had the "not able to add blocks" problem...

I dumped my nuke_blocks table and then reloaded them (only nuke_blocks) from the original sql file that came with 7.0, basically I just copied the code from the nuke.sql file and created my own .sql file

unfortunately, I got a funky error when I did this because I deleted the amazon.php and all the images within the /images/amazon. Once I put these back everything looked normal again.

Once I did that I had a problem with admin. I could get into the admin.php but I couldn't
administer blocks, so I got the original /admin/modules/blocks.php and reloaded it. Worked like a charm. My site was normal looking again, but I had lost my block config.
At this point I just went through all my blocks and reconfigured them. The only other problem I had was with a few of my blocks that were HTML, I had lost them, but fortunately I still had the database backup from the old nuke_blocks table. I copied what I wanted and sql queried them back into the table.


Now, the blocks work like they should!

I hope this helps anyone else that runs into the same issue. icon_mrgreen.gif
