I would like to rebuild / reload my site, however i want to keep several things but i have no idea how.

I would like to keep the members, and the forum threads & categories.

Can someone shed some light on how to to this please.

When you say "Rebuild/Reload" do you mean start over with a newer version or the same version? If you want to go with a newer version then just do a upgrade. If you want to just start over with the same version delete all your files and upload the same version. You can go into the database and delete anything you don't want.
