I have tried that before, so thanks for putting a link up. I am looking for the download module with the upload feature integrated in it. I saw a thread on it on PHPNUKE.org and the download link was not valid.

You can easily edit the download module to include uploading of files. Give it a shot and let us know if you have any issues or questions.

You just have to add the file input and then on the input function upload the file. Also make sure you set the form enctype to accept files. Try checking this out and post any questions you might have.

this module don't work at my site. every time someone is trying to upload a file he gets the msg: "Upload error. Contact the system administrator."

and in the admin window I can see that the file was trying to be uploaded to a diffrent folder than what it is wriiten in the d_config.php

it is trying to be uploaded to something like this: MySite/files/2/0/file.doc
and I need it to be upload to this: MySite/files/file.doc

any ideas?

Sounds like it is setup to make a folder for you and then put the uploaded file into that folder. (Your user_id is 2?)

You may have to edit the files and change it so it only uploads to that file.

Also make sure you have adjust the files permissions so you can upload files into it.

I had to CHMOD my directory to 777 to get it to work. At first, I was getting the same error. Filezilla did it for me.

the directory is CHMOD to 777. thats not the problem... but maybe it is programmed to create a new folder... I couldn't find it in the code, maybe someone can look at it here?
