I am trying to get my index.html file to be prioritized above index.php. My host says it is set up correctly on the server, but still, it does not work.

Any reason why this would be happening? Any settings in NUKE I may need to look at?

most host allow you to designate what index fle extensions you wish to allow as the placeholder page for the site. If you are able to edit this list of placeholder page extensions delete which is appropriate. If not i suggest calling one of thr pages index2 instead of index.

If you can use .htacces pages you can control the directory index by placing this inside of it:



DirectoryIndex index.html index.php



Just place that in a .htaccess file and put into the root of your site.
