I would like to change extinsion from JPG to GIF.
I looked in style and theme.php but didn't see the link

http ://mysite.com/themes/forums/images/logo.jpg to logo.gif

is this possible or will it degrade existing images????

Why are you wanting to change the image extension? What is the extension of the image you are trying to use? .gif or .jpg? You should use the extension of the file that you have uploaded to your server.

As far as changing the logo, it varies from theme to theme, but look in your themes folder for a header.php or header.html page. You'll more than likely find it in there.

I have a gif file I'm using for the logo...but logo ext. is JPG (downloaded theme) I change my .gif ext to .jpg and it works but lost some image quality.

I will look in those file, Thanks
