The Figure at the Fire is alive!

During our recent public investigation of Woodchester Mansion one of our guests (Shaun McCloughlin) decided to take a momento photo of his partner Amy May Berry. During this time we were just about to kick off with the vigils but it seems there was unexpected guest stood by the fireplace! Unfortunately what we believed to be a fantastic ghost picture turned out to be a picture of one of our guests ( Jo Bridges ) who we assure you is quite alive! Waking the dead

One of our aims at Paranormal Nights is to bring to you new locations, after all the unknown is as exciting as the unexpected! We travel a fair bit in doing so, actually investigating given half a chance! We also take along an invaluable tool, a gift if you like, a sixth sense. At a potential location we couple what this sense gives us in with other factors, if all is right we present you with a virgin venue, paranormal investigation wise! However rarely do we get too excited over claims and reputation, it is genuine paranormal potential that we're after. A shame therefore that many places we have been to have not convinced us, but sometimes, albeit rarely we encounter a gem!

The moment we neared Burton Court, near Leominster we sensed that we were having that sixth sense awoke. We entered and had one of those moments where you both look at one another knowing you were both thinking the same thing.. something's not right here! And so it went on... heightening as we headed into room after room, all quiet on this plain but not on the next. We therefore direct your attention to this exciting venue whose owners were naturally reluctant to fully rouse what they knew already stirred..

Where's best for paranormal action? The most asked question we meet and not easy question to answer dealing with an uncertainty. Nonetheless we bring you our prediction for eerie encounters for 2008 at our locations. Whether you'll dare to be there to test our forecasts is down to your nerve as all of the following have yielded results! Ranked below are our best bets for action for ghost hunters..

1. Guys Cliffe House, Warwick. Our reasons? Regularly returns paranormal activity, often quite dramatic!
2. Burton Court, Nr Leominster. Our reasons? Untouched, but potentially explosive!
3. Woodchester Mansion, Gloucestershire. Our reasons? This location has earnt its haunted reputation!
4. Margam Castle, Port Talbot. Our reasons? Has produced phenomena on each occasion we have visited!
5. Warwick Castle, Warwickshire. Our reasons? The castle yields results, albeit with a little coaxing!
6. Ruthin Gaol, Wales. Our reasons? Unknown to us but by all accounts is very active!

Another Existence?

Do we have something in us, often termed our soul or spirit that goes on? Maybe we on this plain evolve through many existences and perhaps that as investigators of the paranormal we brush against another that could be just one of a countless number? Many would have you believe they know how it will be by referencing experts or by relating the teachings of this or that so-called enlightened person but just like our supposition nothing is truly known. Religions ask us to have faith that their belief system has arrived at an answer. Do we believe what we encounter is the result of ourselves living on? Let's just say we continue to assess.

We have as paranormal investigators encountered much phenomena that the general consensus would have us believe are forms of people who once walked the earth, they are seen as lights, heard as sounds and voices and seem to project telekinetic ability in some cases. Are they what we believe they should be or does some part of our own selves come into play here? Once again we do not intend to say that this is so. All we know is that we are encountering something and that vitally the equipment we use to record our encounters does too. It would be nice to believe we are on but one page of existence and what we learn from or add to this existence is not in vain. Ahead is oblivion or knowing, but of relating this back? Well let us hope that we and our guests in this field really are being furnished with clues?

Get-A-Head Charitable Trust Event..

A little while back we were contacted by a young lady by the name of Aimee Cotton who at age 14 was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Aimee went the through this ordeal and came out fighting and to this day has not stopped! She has raised awareness of this form of cancer through her many efforts and contributes to the Get A-head Charitable Trust set up to help in the fight against head and neck cancers and diseases. Aimee wanted to organise a ghost hunt to raise funds and approached us to arrange this. We were delighted to help and play a part in the cause so a charity event has been arranged at Guys Cliffe House for Aimee and her sponsors.
