Is it possible to add any animation to this?

Thanks in advance

Yes, it's possible to add animation to your logo, but you're not going to be able to "stretch" it. You can't stretch images (except transparent or solid color .gifs) without distorting them.

If by "making it go 100%" you mean having one image that is as wide as your screen at 1024 resolution, then you're going to have an image that has a large filesize and is going to take forever to load into people's browser (especially those on dialup). Having a huge image will also cause a horizontal scroll bar on the screens of people who view your site in a lower resolution, say 800x600.

The best thing to do is to take a small slice of the background of the image that will repeat horizontally until it fills up the width of the screen without looking like it's repeating.

There are several advantages to doing it this way:

1. You have a small image which takes a whole lot less time to load.
2. Using that small image as a background image will make it tile across the page until it fills up the width of the screen. It won't matter what the screen resolution of the viewer is.
3. Using the small image as a background image also gives you the ability to place an image (or Flash logo) over the top of it.

You can either make the logo have a transparent background so that the background image shows through the transparent areas or you can make the logo have the same background as the background image.

If, after reading this, you still want to have animation added to your current logo, then give me some kind of idea of how you want it animated and I'll see what I can do. If, you want to try the suggestions above with either an animated logo or the Flash logo that Red made for you, we'll do that.

Kelly

That's a Flash logo on his site. The dimensions are 389 x 83. The kind of animation you are wanting has to be done in Flash, which you already have.

So what do you want to do?

Red is going to redo your Flash logo so that it's 450x120 and has a transparent background. I'll cut a slice out of your current logo that you can use to tile across the top of the page.

Here you go. The transparent flash logo, the background image and the code to put it on your page are all included in the .zip file.
