I am trying to add a category to my website on the left column but can't seem to be able to generate a new one with the mm_menu.

Where did you get the menu? Do they have a support forum?If not, can you give us a link to where you got it so we can take a look?

At present, I was trying something and I have messed it up but tomorrow it should be fine as I will fix it tonight.

If you can add the category, give me an estimate of how much it would be to add a category on the left hand side of my website.

Unfortunately, I can't tell much from just looking at your website. I'd need to see the actual script. If you know where you got it, I can go download it and possibly tell you how to do what you want.
