i haven't been on here in a long while.

well i have a game i download from a website and i wanted to put it on my website. and i was able to download what i thought were the only files i needed but for some reason all i get is a white square with an X

in the source code they explain they don't want people hot linking and people are free to copy the files to their own site which i did but i think i'm missing something. can some one please help?
