I was wondering how the security code acutally worked, I used to have it enabled at my site but it kinda got to be a pain in the butt icon_smile.gif

how does it make it more secure? if someone gets my password somehow will it prevent them from logging in as me?? I dont understand how it could icon_scratch.gif

I would like to use it just for the administarors if it was actually doing something for me-- icon_confused.gif

If you site is up to date i wouldnt worry about the security code.

The security code is just an added security measure in the login form because people can inject sql through links with the security code enabled it is harder for them to access the mysql tables.

The security code also makes sure that it's an actual person logging in. Having the graphic image there that has to be read by human eyes makes it so that a machine (program) can't log in.
