Forum time wrong displays June 26 at 6:27 AM when its June25

I've installed Nuke Platinum 7.6 and I have forums running, and I changed the forum time to GMT -5 (Eastern USA) in the general admin, configuration area. But when I posted my first post it says that I posted at 6:27 AM on June 26, when it was 4:27 PM June 25, today. The admin for nuke is also set to GMT - 5 and it says that its 4:27 PM June 25, right now, so where do I fix this time bug?

from other people ive talked to this problem has come up with people before, but i cant figure it out and the people ive talked to have forgotten how to fix the problem.

please help me, its the only thing not working on my site

i think it takes the server time. thats what it does with my news anyways.

My server time is set correctly, the date and time are correct, view my home bottom left hand corner, displays server stats. The forums time is the only thing messed up.
