on the leaderboard in standings link on the league page theres something called Rank Mongers (500+ games) in the drop down list. im wondering what it is. some of my league members are thinking its rank hogger.plz reply asap

IT seems as tho that is what cases will call anyone who has played over 500 games but i cannot be sure on that. i think your members have the right idea but i am not exactly sure what cases mean by it. All we can do is guess unless someone can get in touch with someone more knowledgeable.

Yes, the Rank Monger catagory does mean Rank Hogger, lol. However, it
is not an accurate indication if someone is actually being a rank
hogger. The percent you see there is the result of a calculation based on
the number matches played and how many of those matches were played
against players lower in rank. If a player is consistently lower in rank
because they don't play often or because they do not win alot, then of
course they are mostly going to be playing players higher in rank,
because there are not as many players who are lower. And the same for
players who are consistenly higher in rank..of course they are going to play
alot of lower ranks because there are less players who are higher than
they.

Numbers can sometimes be manipulated to show a certain result and to
prove a point, however, that result can be inaccurate if other factors
are not considered. Personally, I do not place any value on the Rank
Monger calculation. If you feel a player is Rank Hounding, your best bet
is to watch their playing habits. Are they refusing to play players
lower in rank but 5 minutes later play a higher ranked player? These are
the types of things to look for if you feel someone is rank hounding.

Who chases rank, and wont play those higher than them.

Their sole aim is to get to number 1 and only play thise who can help them get their by beating them, never giving anyone else a go at them in case they lose rung spot.
