Notification Mod - How do I put spaces in the newtopicnotify

I have everything installed and working correctly, however, I have an off handed question.

I created the topic_notify.tpl and the newtopic_notify.tpl but am totally stumped on how to make it so that it stays in form. This is what it looks like:


Subject: New Topic Notification for forum "{FORUM_NAME}" - {TOPIC_TITLE}
Charset: iso-8859-1

Hello {USERNAME},

{POSTERNAME} has posted a new topic called "{TOPIC_TITLE}" in the "{FORUM_NAME}" forum at {SITENAME}. You can use the following link to view the topic:

{U_TOPIC}

However, when it comes through as an email, there are no carraige returns.

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious... could some one clue me in? Please? icon_smile.gif

It depends on the mail service your using. You could add <br> but if someone has the mail service set to not accept html then they will see it. What way is your mail service set up?

I'm not actually sure what my mail server is set up to.. however...

All emails being sent out (like the notify me for a PM) that come basic w/ phpbb format fine. They have the proper <br> where they are suppose to be. It's the new one's that I created for the Notification Mod that aren't coming out formatted correctly. I've looked at the one's for the PM and the one's for Notification, and visibly I can't see a difference. That is why I'm so stumped on this one.

Try renaming the mail tpl to the notify tpl and see if works. Then make changes to that one.
