I use Macromedia Flash MX and Ulead GIF Animator, also, the 3D programs like 3D Studio Max, Blender, and Lightwave do animations. The best thing about "Blender" is that u get an awesome 3D program free! [ Register or login to view links on this board.]

photoshop and imageready (they come together), you can create animaetd ifs (and new cs version of imagready allows swf if im not mistaken but could be), for flash, i find flash mx best as recoil said, swish, and 3danimator are also very good programs for flash.

i now have photoshop 7.0 and image ready full version right now lol been a long time since i back then used it so i kinda forgot everything lol
