I have a ton of spam coming through. My last host had it taken care of, but it looks like I will have to set this one up myself (no problem, I would like to learn how to do it anyway) icon_biggrin.gif

Anyway, I would like to know how to setup spam protection...

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND visiting [ Register or login to view links on this board.] if you are interested in running a Linux distribution of an MTA. I have qmail running with clam antivirus protection and spamassassin ans it works AWESOME! The tutorial the webmaster has put together on that site for the Red Hat / Fedora OSes is very thorough and I found myself just copying and pasting the commands he has laid out on those pages to setup my own E-Mail Server. He helps you with the install of the mail server, various logging tools, antivirus and spam protection, and much much more.

You may want to set this up on a test server to make sure you get the hang of it, and just so you do not destroy your website setup.

Good Luck, and let me know if I can be of any assistance, as I have setup many mail servers with this tutorial!

Enter the domain name of the IP or the domain server that is sending you the spam and it will automatically block them. Thier is mild spam resistance allready set up but it doesnt block all of them.
