I have downloaded the white flash clock to use on my
wife's site, that I have been constructing for her.

The clock looks great btw.

I have tried to change the colour of the background,
as instructed in the readme file, but I cannot get it
to change colour. I am trying to change it from
#FFFFFF to #FFEAF5 so that it blends nicely onto her
site.

Despit what was said in the readme file, as far as I am
aware, it can't be changed, unless you have the .fla file

I originally sent this as an email to telli before I registered
here, as that was the email listed in the readme file and
as of yet have never received a reply !!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Well I don't know why you never received the email,
I just checked the sent folder & it was sent to the
correct address on the 20th Oct. Oh well, nvm icon_rolleyes.gif

Here's a copy of the readme file that was supplied with
the flash clock (CZclockblockwte)

Installation help:
To install this flash clock simply upload:

CZclocksciwte.swf----->root/images/
block-CZclockwte.php---->root/blocks/

Log into your admin panel and activate it!

If you want to change the background open block-CZclockwte.php
with any text editor and find the following:

$content .= "<PARAM NAME=\"bgcolor\" VALUE=\"#ffffff\">";

Change the color to what best suits you, light colors are best with
this version of the clock.

please do not redistribute or attempt to claim as your own.


The line I refer to is;

$content .= "<PARAM NAME=\"bgcolor\" VALUE=\"#ffffff\">";

The colour cannot be altered as the flash is swf. To alter any of the
background to the clock, one would need the .fla file.

Yes, the white does match in well, but as I stated earlier, I wanted to change
the white background (#FFFFFF) to the light pink (#FFEAF5) of the site

Guess i should have explained it better... the clock face is an image so you can't change that background anyways. The above method will change the background color on the loading screen. The actual clock face cannot be altered as it is an image.

It wasn't the clockface I wanted to change, just the colour

*idea* Is it possible to get a "custom one-off" of that clock
in the colour I need for the wife's site ? She & myself would
be ever so greatful ??
