There are zillions of Flash Tutorials out there, just get Google working on it.
Flash can take a while to get to grips with, but if you're going to be using it a lot, then it's worth the effort. For an occasional user, perhaps one of the Flash generators like SwishMax might be a better option.
If you're determined to have a go with Flash, then the tutorials that come with it are a pretty good place to start. There are some FLA's to peek at and take apart in the Samples folder of Flash MX.
