Hi gurus,

I had this coding working great. I went to change something, at this point I don't even remember what I was changing, and that was all she wrote. Now I can not, for the life of me get the menus to come back out from hiding?!

There are supposed to be drop downs from the What's New, Products, and Cust Serv titles. You can see that they are there, but the Flash file that runs in the center content covers it for some reason.

Could somebody please tell me how make them visible again?

Thanx

Did you remove the Flash movie? I don't see one on your index page and the menus display fine.

To solve the problem, check to see if you can find a z-index property somewhere in your menu script. The z-index property defines the vertical stacking order of elements.

If there isn't one, you may have to create it.

Here's some more info on z-index:

Yeah, I did remove it. Sorry 'bout that. Here's a link to the actual flash movie. And, I did try setting the z-index to 100. That didn't work. I've even tried recreating the movie from scratch. didn't work either! [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

You might not be able to stack anything on a layer higher than Flash. I'm not really sure. I know you can't use a Flash movie as a background.

You might have to resort to frames so that the menu and the Flash movie are on separate pages, but still, that might not even work.

Let me do some digging around. I'll let you know if I find a way to make it work.

Thanx, I appreciate it.

Just to let you know, it was working great! Then I tried to change something in the header, I really don't even remember what now. From that second on, it's not working right?! I'm so frustrated with it! icon_cry.gif
