Okay, this is totally makin me furious... When I save images and it saves as .ART, I can not even view the images on my computer! Then, when I try to save the images again, it has another option, .BMP, but I still cant view them! I usually can view .BMP images, but when it socials with .ART, I cant! How can I get .ART to show on my computer? Why cant I save it as .GIF or .JPG?

Let me guess. Do you use AOL? Images saved from webpages viewed in AOL's browser are compressed for quicker loading by the AOL browser. They can only be saved with an .art extension and only viewed via the AOL browser. There are programs that you can use to convert an .art file to a .gif or .jpg, but the results are usually pretty bad.

The only thing I can suggest is to view the pages in a browser other than AOL and save the images from there.

Ohh... lol.. I usually use Explorer but I was surfing in AOL browser. I'll try Explorer and Firefox. How embarassing for me. lol.. hugs

I tried other browsers, still no luck. Dunno why that would be. icon_sad.gif I dont have problem with AOL browsers, I save many images on AOL just fine, its just that these specific images are being mean to me.
