I dont know is this is the right place for this topis or not. Im doing a html website and i need the script or whatever it is i need to make a login box ( the two little boxes where you put your username name and password to log into the site) work on a html website and any other info i need for it to work. I hope you can understand this i dont know how else to explane it. If it would help you to understand what im talking about my websites url is [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] .

Javascript is oonly of the least secure way of protecting your website. If you have the resouces and knowledge of serverside script like php that would be the way to go. Or if your webpages are being hosted on a server that you have admin rights (in other words not most free hosting ) you can protect your pages that way.

BUT if you only can do with java right now then you might do a google search for password protecting a webpage. Here is a link to a scripted ID and PW

but I believe [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] actually provides a a free id and pw login redirect service (well free if you mind mind ads and who knows what else lol.
