I’m currently running phpbb 2.022 and I’d like to install phpnuke onto my web site. Is there an easy way to keep my current forums and install php nuke as a front end because when you install php nuke it installs its own forums.

I don’t really want to loose any data from the current forums or members.

Or is it possible to backup my phpbb sql file and remove the current phpbb and install nuke and re import the sql file with all the data. I have looked at the last and many of the sql files names don’t seam to match a standard php install.

I’m sure there’s an easy way? So let me know…

Best bet is to backup the Forums then remove them. Install the new Nuke installation and then import your data. If you search on the net you will find a few scripts for doing this. I understand they may be old but with a little editing you should be able to use one of them. Most important thing is to make sure you have a backup of your data just incase you have problems.
