Hey kelly its the hitman here i am starting to learn and make graphics pictures using photoshop i was making some gel buttons one day when suddenly no matter what colour i chose it was either light grey or dark grey i cannot have any reds , greens , blues , yellows ect just white , grey more grey and black do u no what the prob is and how to sort it ??

With the image open, go to Image>Mode. Check to make sure RGB is checked. Sounds like somewhere along the way you told the image to be Grayscale.

If that doesn't fix it, email me the .psd file and I'll see if I can see the problem.

Slave ya say?? I've got a load of dishes waiting to be washed and a kitchen floor that needs to be swept and mopped and about 3 loads of laundry that need to be folded and put away. Hop to it bud!!!
