Hi,
I don't want any of my Moderators announce a new topic.

So, can anyone tell me how I turn of the announcing a topic option?

Thanks

Edit the group settings for moderators in your forum admin. I'll install a local copy of nuke and find the exact steps but if you see this before then, then you can see if you can find it first lol.

EDIT: Having some troubles setting up a localhost as im not on my own computer so i dont have the proper permissions, will set up as soon as i can, in the meantime what your looking for is in the forum admin as i said ^^^^ If I get it installed before you see this then n/m :P lol

Appologies for the wait m8, had to wait till i got home to my own local server. To stop moderators being able to set announcements:
1) Go to your forum admin.
2) On the left hand side, under the header "Forum Admin" click "Permissions"
3) Select the forum you wish to edit (where you dont want moderators to be able to set announcements), and click "Look up Forum"
4) Click "Advanced Mode" and then set the permissions the way you want them.

Thats how im doing it under my localhost, test that if it doesnt work report back icon_smile.gif

P.S. Sorry for the double post, but, just incase Incognito had the email when topic gets a responce on, and was waiting for that, i thought i should post a new reply.
