I just uploaded a moded Survey block that will limit users to one vote per survey per month. If they've already voted, it will display results of the survey in the block.

Is it tracking by the ip or cookies. I always thought tracking by cookies would be a great idea just for people like me, who have the ever changing IP address. I can vote about 1000 times on some surveys even though I only have one username. My IP just keeps changing all the time due to my provider being DirecWay. (Can't get cable or DSL out in the country) icon_sad.gif

It seems with the cookie option, it would notice I am logged in, and then keep me from being able to vote. Just a thought anyhow.

Good point. I just used the tables that were already in place, so it's tracking by IP. I suppose I could tweak the module so that it checks if you're logged in or not. Members would be cookie based voting and anonymous would be IP based.

Sounds like it would a huge improvement to the survery/poll feature. I would like to see it get done.
