I have Nuke 7.8 and I noticed something odd.

I do alot of articles on Windows XP errors and fixes and use Windows directories quite often. when I typed C:WindowsINF into the text editor and published it, I noticed that the backslashes were gone and it looked this: C:WindowsINF

Can anyone tell me why it's doing this and if there is a work around?

Thanks

There is probably a stripslashes() lfunction used right before the information is sent to the database. Locate it and comment it out then test your News storys.

Ok. I finally got the backslashes to stay in the text editor. However, even though they display in preview, they disappear when the actual article is published.

Any ideas what I am missing? I know I am on the right track.

I have had this same problem, so I just been avoiding slashes. I didn't think of the above suggestion. It also occured on a 7.8 installation.

Well, I had it working and now it's not.

This is frustrating and I can't understand why it was made this way.

Well, I've tried everything I can think of and I just can't get it to work.
