Greetings,

Just wondering if anyone has the script & html form codes for the sign-up process. If so can you let me know - it would be a great help in saving me an aweful lot of time in going thru the process, figuring out the code myself, and then trying to make it work on our new main page...

many thanks in advance,
Chris

You reffering to Cases sign up pages? If so I dont have anything like that available you would have to rip up the source code to get it.

Now - you've made me think... in writing out a reply I'm not sure if what I was planning will work... and I certainly dont want to spend hows hacking code together if there's no need... but then I dont get out much, and have a fresh pot of java next to me, lol...

There are 4 steps to the sign-up process, I wanted create a page for each step with the same background I'm using for the rest of the page. The sign-up process will be within a cell in one of the tables on the new site. page1 -> introduction to signing-up page (IFramed), beneath 2 buttons (sign-up, activate code) sign-up will take user to page2 -> step1 of 4 of cases signing up process(my version IFramed)... activate code will take user to activate code page (IFramed)... with me so far? new user will then go through the 4 steps all on the same page, with each new step an IFrame of pages that I create with the sign-up code....

In thinking this through now, does each step in the process communicate with cases servers? Or is all the comm's done at the end of step4?

Any ideas guys?

If you are mainly iframing the pages anyway with a different background, it can be done much like the calendar has been done. Check out the codes for the calendar in the admins101 section and pattern it after that.

and yes, each page does communicate with cases servers to be able to update the standings and league members

d'er how daft of me, of course each step must communicate with server...

well, I'm going to need to think this trough a little more...

query though, if I do it the same way as the calendat Iframe code, is it possible to change the background colours, or background image? surely Iframing just takes the website and embeds it into yours?

although I have not really experimented with changing the background image...there certainly is nothing to hurt you if you try it

'm still wondering if my original thoughts would work... I've had a look at changing the background of an Iframed object, and I cant see how it would work... only other thought is simply to iframe cases sign-up process into the cell, and live with the blue.... :'-(

I need nicotine, lol... taking a break, back shortly... thanks for thoughts, will pop head into chat room on return...

regards
