When trying to access the Protector(IPBan) area, it goes to a blank white page and gives me an Acces Denied! error. Any ideas?

Also, I have this button as a link in my Admin Panel "_BINF_PRGNAME" Any idea what this is? The image is:

and the URL it links to is:
[ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

When clicking this one, I also get the error Access Denied!.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like your installation went wrong or your platinum distro is corrupt. I personally don't recommend the platinum distro, but thats a user choice. You may wanna find the author of your distro and try to get some support there if decide to stick with it.

Can you explain to me what the platinum distro is, what its used for, and how to remove it to solve the problem?

Basically, I mean your phpnuke install. I was assuming from your other post its phpnuke platinum your using. Platinum is the distrobution.

If your in the early stages of your sight let me recommend one that is well supported and fully functional.

OK, Any way to fix this and re-gain access to it, if its not important would you recommend getting rid of it? If so, how?

Is the raven pacakge better than the PHPNuke 7.6 Patched version offered in the CZ Downloads?

Yes, raven is much better. It is 7.6 patched with Nuke Sentenil and a few other goodies pre-installed.

Ok, so would it be ok to upgrade to it even if my DB is well established and all the content is in place? What will it affect by doing this?

No, raven's has a very simple install script, but even if you tried to upgrade the sql entries manually I believe you would still run into many issues. You could always make a test2 directory and a new db. That would give you the chance to check out the script itself without harming the old install.
