hey all

I just bought a website installed PhpNuke/PhpBB on it, using Fantastico on cPanel I have found a theme I really like for both. How do I install the theme on the site?

Download the theme files to your hard drive and upload it thru ftp to your themes folder. Make sure you read the readme files icon_mrgreen.gif

im a huge noob... lol, how exactly do i USE ftp?

EDIT: Got a FTP client tried to connect to my ftp server (ftp.mysite.com) the port number was 21, and it didnt connect 0,o i got the error

Can't establish connection --> [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] @ Sat Sep 09 19:42:41 2006 (0-19)

any ideas?

well that just depends on which ftp program you use.

In our downloads section, you'll find a free trial version of wsftp. Although I don't use it, there are many that would swear by it.

Make sure to check the documentation that came with your program. There are other ftp proggies that don't need the [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] to connect. some just use mysite.com in the host area. make sure your pwd and login info are correct as well.
