I have been high and low and hours upon hours of searching how to add the comments feature to a module ..

Simply what l am looking for is this ..

I would like to have a comments module simular to the nuke news on that only reg users can post a comment and if needed the admin can delete a post... and l have tried terribly to add this but have failed with no success ...


Someone informed me over @ nukecops to leave my request here that you may be able to assist me on this venture ... icon_wink.gif


Any and all advice would be highley appreciated and l do look forward to hearing back from you all on any suggestions you may have to get this added or even point me in the direction of where l can find this ...piece of code ...

So if i understand you just want a module with a comments text box and way for the admin to deletethe comments? What are they comments for? Or is this for another type of news module or something of that sort.

Yes l simply been looking for the code to add the comments feature to a module and have been unsuccesfull on my search.If you can help me with this it would be great ..


What l have is the NukeJokes module 1.7v for 6.9 PHPnuke and quiet a few members are complaining that there should be a comment feature so people can of course comment weither they like the Nukejoke or not ...

I understand l will have to create a table in myadmin for the nuke_comments its just finding the code to add it to the module and where about to add it in ....

If you can assist me on this venture lt would be extremly appreciated .

Ok i think this will get you started its a hack add on for forum boards but same principal users can leave comments and the admins can delete them its all stored in a databse too. Try looking through the code and making changes so that it suits your needs. Its not an easy job and if i have some time Iw ill see if i cant mod it somehow too.

Thank you telli for the mod l will see what l can do to add it to the NukeJokes Module any suggestions on how to go about it l know l will have to go threw it and set the prefixes to nuke_jokes and the id as well as the cid for nukejokes ...


I will get this started and see how it goes just not sure how l am going to include this in to the module yet any suggestion on that would be benificial thanks
