Spam Sent To PHPNuke site email constantly..

Hello,

I've been busy at other things for quite some time, so hadn't as much
time to play with cms, but i have a few phpnuke sites up for a few years.

One site is receiving several spam mail a day
It goes to the email address i set up for that phpnuke site

Not sure what to do, would have tryed phpnuke.co.ok but seems to be gone

You can add this into your robots.txt to stop mail archiving:


User-agent: EmailCollector
Disallow: /

I mean will it stop any from of contacting me from that site?

It will stop the mail archivers from spidering your site and getting the emails that way. If they already have them then I would suggest a good spam washer for your computer. Mailwasher Pro is a good one.

You can also report the abusive mail to the senders origination IP (there host) by looking in the email headers. If they get added to a spam list then your host may block them.
