I have had phpnuke 8.0 running now for a good 4-5 weeks now. After many many hours i now got it working good enough where my guild can start using it. The only thing is it still not working 100% and i now want to get the bugs worked out of it. here some of the problems i am getting that i want to fix.

1. people are not able to insert images for there signature, it will just show there [img]"image link"[/img], i have tryed useing the [img][/img], html, and java.

2. I can not insert images in the news module when i make a new post.

3. a few members can not get to the coppermine.php page. when they click on that link it will ask them to download that page, but no other php page on the website.

1.) Make sure the link does not contain any spaces. Example:


[img]http://codezwiz.com/images/someimage.gif[/img]



2.) Open your config.php and make sure you have img added to the allowed tags.

3.) Is the coppermine for registered users only? Are they sure they are logged in? Do you have the gzip setting turned on in coppermine? If so change it to off and see if that fixes the downnload prompt.

yes there is no spaces in my link

what config.php file do i open? there lots of them

The config.php that is in the root directory with the mainfile.php.

Check the Forums admin configuration page also and make sure that img is in the allowed html tags.

and my allowabled html tags in the fourm pref is b,i,u,pre,img

i am using php-nuke 8.0

i was reading on a site that i should that i need to downgrade to php-nuke 7.6 to get it all to work right.... please tell me this is not true, i spent weeks getting php-nuke8.0 setup

Thats part of the reason I don't use nuke anymore... too many upgrades and most the time your just putting back the bugs.
