I am following a tutorial on how to restore my database for my website. I messed up the forums and it looks like the only way to fix it is to reinstall, so i backed up the website and i was looking into restoring the files with the sql file that i downloaded, but the tutorial says to press the sql tab in phpmyadmin and uncheck the show query here again box then to browse for the file and press go. but there is no browse button. I am using php nuke 7.9. can you help?

If you do not have a browse button you could just copy and paste it into the box that comes up in phpmyadmin once you click on sql.
It will inject what you put in that box into your tables. Some versions depending on how the backup was saved, will not override existing tables, there fore they must be deleted before the backups can be added.
But try just copy and paste first, most of times it should work.

It is better to regret something that you have done...............than to regret something that you havent done.

As Damian said click the "SQL" tab along the top of the right side and enter the contents into the textarea. There should however be a "Browse" button on the bottom of that page also.
