Wish the awesome thing couldnt do so much then i wouldnt care and i could move on but nooooo had to make something cool and make me want it now didnt they.

Ok i am in flash mx, i want to export my movie (100x98 pixels), i go i clikc file, i click export, then name it export it as a swf file, all as u usually do. However for some reason it exports out and its bad quality, looks as if its after being blured, no my screens not smudged b4 u ask.
OK now i created the original image in paint shop pro, myself, exported it as png image everything as high as it could go to make sure i couldnt lose any quality, opened up mx, added my text, my effects to it, everything looks great, then i try and export it and its crap quality lol.

On another note, i need to export it as something other than a swf file, but when i export it as animated gif, i get like 50 files (not exagerating) on my desktop, each frame is exported as 1 image. Ive done everything mentioned above before and had no problems what am i after doing wrong now ?

The only thing I can think of to try, is to export from PSP as a jpg, you have some control of jpg quality on export in Flash. If that doesn't work I'll think some more. icon_confused.gif

As far as the export goes, is the movie 50 frames long?

ok i got it, well actually i completly redid it again caus ei got a different idea but the jpeg worked, however on my background of the imag i have a gray background, and my movie in the middle, when exporting in swf format its great, but animated gif it takes the background aswell, there isnt a layer where the background is that i can take it out, and i dont rememebr putting it in, but i am creating off a template i did a while back for a diff movie, how can i get rid o it, or else crop out my movie or something, i can send u the fla file if u want or the swf. or gif or whatever he he

Try setting the background to transparent before you export it, it's in the publish settings. If that fails, email me the .fla at [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

By the way I know a very nice program called "Flash To Video Encoder 2.0". By the help of it you can convert any flash files to avi, gif, mp4 & other formats. Also you are able to convert Flash SWF files to MP4 media content for your mobile devices. To be short I liked this program.
