Hi,
I was interested in learning the php thing. I noticed that there are free sites that I could make a php site and practice with it, yet confused with the version stuff. I notice that there is version 6.5 in the downloads here but most free sites only allow up to php4. Can anybody explain what I am not doing right when searching? TY in advance for the help.

php is the main script (language) that runs on the server. PHPNuke is a cms that use php to run. Php 4.1 is fine to use but 4.3 is recomended. There is a complete install guide here:

ok Telli....I downloaded PhP and it says that the program needs to be found...it goes onto the internet to look for it but cant find it....I need help....
