Forum Problem

Is there a limit to the number of catagories and/or forums?

I have 6 categories and 13 forums, only 11 forums show up. They all show up on the Admin screen of the forums admin page, but they don't all show up in the forum lists at my site.

All are unlocked and none are hidden... when I click on them from the admin screen, it says forum doesn't exist...

Have you tried deleting them and adding them again. As far as I know thier is no limit I have seen forums with many more then that. Try to add them again and let me know what happens.

OK, When I have the area set for REG for all categories, it shows, when I put it on Private, Private (hidden), Mod or Mod hidden or ADMIN hidden or not, it doesn't.

OK... I think I got it now...

I can set permissions for the general public, but I have to set the individual permissions as well. Once I made myself an admin and access all settings I can see everything...

Question, do I have to do that for all members? I have 5 levels of access:
Registered member
ZTA Member
Investigator
Council
Admins

Registered can only see Public areas
ZTA Member can see Public and general members topics
Investigators can see Investigations area + ZTA Members areas
Council can see everything but Admin areas

Can I just put council into a group and give that group permissions, or do I have to give each individual council person separate permissions?

Im not sure you may want to try cleaning your cookies and cache and rebooting could very well be a bad session cookie.

I think I fixed it. Thanks for the suggestions. I didn't realize there were about 3 levels of permissions to regulate, but I like the security.
