Coppermine theme modifications trouble

I am having trouble getting an image to display in a table in Coppermine.

This is the original code from the style.css :


.tableh1 {
background : #0E72A4 ;
color : #FFFFFF;
padding-top: 3px;
padding-right: 10px;
padding-bottom: 3px;
padding-left: 10px;
}


I am replacing "background : #0E72A4 ;" with "background-image: url(images/myimage.gif);"

All it seems to do is delete the background all together and does not display the image.

Also, the Coppermine link rollover effects seem to take over my site when in the Coppermine page. For instance, the default Coppermine theme rollover effects are a blue color with the link underlined. I am using BreatheFX and the rollover effects are a yellowish color. Is there anyway to change this so that Coppermine uses the site theme rollover effects? Additionally, why does it do this?

CHange the css to this

background-image: url(../../../images/myimage.gif);

For the coppermine links you will have to add inline styles to them the main css is over riding them.
