Is there a hack somewhere to "totally" disable "new user registration" in v6.5?

I'm already using the "approve membership" module, but I'd like the option to goto a NO registration permitted system.

I can read and follow directions if anyone can just give me a starting point.

I have looked around as best i can and i have not found anything, i also see that you have posted the same q in nuke cops.

ust an idea unless you got it already would be to have a look here as well and search their DB, [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] They are a good resource and might have something there for ya.

I'd been using a module named "approve membership v1.1." It's author has a v3 out, but said it hadn't been tested with anything but 6.9

I fiddled with it minimally and got it working perfectly on 6.5 right out of the "starting gate."
