hello can it be done by using your new 7.0 the one you all made but make it a 6.5 because i have some stuff that will not work with 7.0 but i really like this new 7.0 that codezwiz made

prolly a dumb question but here it goes: icon_rolleyes.gif

if I backup my forum DB and backupup my site DB (thru site admin controls) then wipe out my current 6.9 version and then installed your 7.0 version, will I be able to use those back-ups I made??
in other words will I be able to save my current member info along with all forum posts???

It would require alot of work thier are added fields in the 7.0 that 6.9 doesnt have that will need to be added to ever insert you make (1000's) you could however upgrade your version to 7.0 standard and then maybe do it that way. Or upgrade to 7.0 then add the mods and hacks they arnt to hard to add in.

No because there are mods in the forums that require other files that are in includes/ and db/ that are set for 7.0 and the new table structure.
