Hi,

I was tring to upgrate the phpbb from 2.5 to 2.7 and it start giving heaps of erros.
So i gave it up and
I did make back ups of the original files..and after uploading back the files like the way it was before
it looks everithing fine except an error when i try to make a new post with is:

Parse error: parse error in public_html/php/modules/Forums/posting.php on line 454

atached is the posting.php from 2.5 that i wasa working and now is not.

Have you tried downloading the one from here and just reuploading the posting.php. You are upgrading from 6.5?

no. i havent try.. i download the 2.05 to 2.06 upgrate from other site ,
then the 2.06 to 2.07 then it gave me lots of errors.. them i put the back up files from 2.06 again and is giving this parse error.. and also it says 2.05 version in the copyright . maybe i miss something.. i didnt see any file there to upgrate the database. icon_rolleyes.gif

Molly its very hard to tell what the problem could be. Download the nuke 7.1 from this site and try just the posting.php and see what happens.
