Hi folks!

I am really curious to know how most of you folks around here learned your craft here. I have a little bit of HTML knowledge (barely even a novice I'd say) but think my learning curve is good enough to learn the ropes of web hosting/design without formal training. I'm hoping so at least, that is why I am asking the experts. I am particulary interested in HTML and PHP and I have just recently fell in love with what PHP-Nuke can do and think it is perfect for the site I will be working on and if I can do my own themes and modifications it would help alot.

Any suggestion/advice would be greatly appreciated.

I"m certainly not an expert but you can learn a lot from several Nuke tuts out there. Among them:

As for HTML...there literally a million sites out there to learn it. Whichever one you choose, always remember one thing...HANG IN THERE!

I think try and error is a good way of learning! Ive learned much from my mistakes.

I learned HTML by right clicking on View Source and changing the code to my needs but I agree with annetje77... learn by Trail and Error.
