In my preferences for my site I have the stories in home set to 5, but like 30 seem to show up, making my page forever long.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Is there some place in a document I can manually edit that maybe the preferences code is not editing?

I had the same problem a while back I just edited the it in the myphpadmin

you will have to edit the nuke_config table icon_smile.gif

just change the number in the storyhome ( you will find it if you browse the table nuke_config)

Ok, sorry it too so long, but apparently thats a no go. It is already set to 5 there, any other ideas.

Whats the preferances set like in your account page? Check and make it is set to 5 or make sure you have the option to overide the number of storys in home set to yes.
