Can some please help me, I want to add postrow.INTERESTS to viewtopic, but not 100% sure how to do it.

Any help appreciated.

Im pretty sure that is allready coded into the viewtopic.php and the includes/page_header.php so just add this


{postrow.POSTER_INTERESTS}


Right under the

{postrow.POSTER_JOINED}<br />


in the themes/YOUR_THEME/viewtopic_body.tpl should work just fine. If not post back and we will see if it is coded in or you have to add it.

hmm didnt work.

Im using the phpib2 theme.

What should I be looking for in the page_header?

There might not be anything for that in the includes/page_header.php

open your modules/Forums/viewtopic.php and find this line

$sql = "SELECT u.username, u.user_id,.......


Make sure that u.user_interests is there. If not add it.(make sure to check the commas)


Find next:

$poster_joined = ( $postrow[$i]['user_id'] != ANONYMOUS ) ? $lang['Joined'] . ': ' . $postrow[$i]['user_regdate'] : '';


and after add this:

$poster_interests = ( $postrow[$i]['user_interests'] && $postrow[$i]['user_id'] != ANONYMOUS ) ? $lang['Interests'] . ': ' . ($postrow[$i]['user_interests']) : '';


Next find

'POSTER_JOINED' => $poster_joined,


And after add this:

'POSTER_INTERESTS' => $poster_interests,

One more quick thing, where do I put the bold tags to make Interests: and Joined: in bold?

Just place them before the {postrow. } in the theme file.
