Browser Version in a javascript

Hi,
In an application, I want to find whether browser is Netscape 6.x or
Netscape 7.x through a javascript. The API i am aware of is: appName and
appVersion. But these guys does not tell me whether browser is Netscape 6.x
or 7.x. For both browser versions, API appVersion returns 5.0 (Windows,
en-us).

Can someone please tell me how to figure this out.
