Hi,

I've installed arcade mod v2 from this site but am having trouble getting the scores to record. The games play ok, but when the game ends it doesn't record the score and return to the score page like it does on this site. It just sits in the game intro waiting to play again.

the db appears to have the right tables for everything but no scores are recorded. Tried deleting the cookie info in forum/config but that didn't help either.

got any ideas anyone ????

have you chmod'ed the txt files for the games? i think the readme in that file talks about htaccess being an issue with recording scores as well. I didn't have any problems with the htaccess issue, but forgot to chmod the txt files initially when I installed. icon_rolleyes.gif

ummmm ....

Either I missed something or we've got different mods ??

This is an addition into the forums module - Arcade v 2.0.2 downloaded from this site. Scores arent saved to txt files but into the db.

I think we're having the same problem. The game plays okay and then it takes you to a screen that says submit score but you can't?

Am having the same problem also, after the game is finished the high scores dont get recorded.. is there any fix to this problem or have we missed something out?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. icon_smile.gif

lol, may be an old topic but i have the same prob, only just found the Arcade mod on codezwiz and now am looking for an answer to tht problem...anyone?

Another thing you may want to check is what you've set the score management to fo each game. Go into Forums Admin and click on Arcade Games Management, then Management for one of you categories, then Edit on each game. It should look something like this at the bottom:

Score management type
Specify the management type for the scores.

Most games are type 3, but the readme that comes with the file should have exact details.

I never touched my cookies settings and my arcade has always worked. [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]
