Hi can anyone help me please, my site installer is away for a week but i do have admin rights and god account setup for me,

when my members register no one is getting the activation e-mail and can't login, need help urgent as members complaining,

any ideas gratefullt appreciated

several things you can do:

1. make sure in your admincp>preferences that your site is correctly placed in the site info section with no trailing slashes

2. if your members are using pop emails, have them check their spam/bulk mail for the activation emails

3. you can use the No activation hack from several places such as
[ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

thanks for that but i have tried to use hotmail, blueyonder, and our server domain e-mail adds, spam filter checked and nothing there, no trailing slashes, [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] as it reads ,

what next anyone please

i can't install any mods etc, as i only have site admin and god account, my site installer is away on holiday for a week, and i'm losing members, any more info appreciated thanks

One last thing you can try is to set allow user registration to off in your forums>config

other than that without being able to get in to your files, I can not think of anything else

ok did try that earlier but will try again, how long will it take for the username who have registered to auto delete with no activation,
