Hi,

Was wondering if anybody else had this happen. For the last few days my site hits are on steroids or something. My normal average is around 300 hits per day. For 2 days in a row they jumped to way over 1,000. One day it hit around 1,600 hits and the next day was over 2,000 hits with that day starting at over 1,500 hits by 9am in the morning. I also use a google counter and that count has NOT changed at all, so that mostly rules out google searching my site. Is there some way to check of why the site hits are so high? Like a log file or something? Normally I wouldnt mind traffic at my site yet this is very strange since my traffic stays about constant on other days. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Google has changed there IP's a bit, they have a few new sets as i know because i had about 20 on my site 24/7, but now i've taken off the meta tags they dont come back haha lol

Im getting the same thing. My site had only been up 2 days, with a really long url (I hadnt shortened it yet), but still, in two days, I had over 250 hits.

??
