Unholygul:

I was lookin for a script or something remotely hosted.. which i have found before mind u, and i cant remember where... a drop down menu or sumthing similar to translate to a variety of different languages and one that translates the whole site in the same browser.

Taut:

I know for a fact that Heather has the one that translates the whole site to almost any language but I do not know if it is in a drop down form.

You might want to post in her forum and see if she still has it.

Please help me heather. cheers.

Why do you need the source? Just translate the page and put it up in thier launguage.

this is just a suggestion and in no way is the one and only answer...maybe it would be easier for you to just translate the whole site for them. each page add a link that is already translated....and you do this for each language available.

now on your main page, have a drop down where they can choose which language they want. when that link is chosen, a page opens with all the links in their language...they then just choose which link or page they want.

all of this can just be done with many html pages with each page all ready translated by you, using the site mentioned above.

it is a temp fix.....not the prettiest but effective as well.

To be very honest, until the code can be done, I suggest you start translating....each and every page.

I did not take "no" for an answer coz i know it can be done, and i am makin it possible. I have taken codes from real workin ones on sites from there source..(god they hate that - to have on your site they want you to buy one)...he he he, lol.
So here are the two translators:
[ Register or login to view links on this board.]
[ Register or login to view links on this board.]

Now the first one works on its own coz i edited the source completely, the second one has a few lil bits i have missed out i guess as u try to translate with it by itself and it does not work. Do not say that the second one is impossible coz i know it is not. I just need to know what part of the code it is having a lil problem with and what part I have missed out/needs fixing. I only prefer the second translator as it translates not only the first page, but any page you click to go to after that one, number 1 does not have that function unfortunately.
After that is complete I can then make those text boxes hidden input fields, preset there values so that it only translates my page, etc. And i will be left with what I want - Just a drop down to select which type of translation i want.

Never think anything is impossible, just takes a lil initiative!
Thanx, hope you can fix da code for me! icon_wink.gif

okies well in time i fixed it myself, now however, i have a different problem and this time have no clue how to solve as i am not good at forms. I want to make translator 2 be able to just translate my site only be clickin and selectin a language to view it in. So for text input for url i want to put in [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] make that default and hidden so users cannot change it. Also want to make subject general.. as default and hidden. Also same with source.. make it default and hidden and pls remove the text translator part within this. So in effect all i will have is one drop down for users to see and they can then just click and drop to select which language to view my page in. I also suggest when complete u could put it in Post Your Scripts forum. Pls post me back src code once u have that complete and then I can just change the look of it to match my site... ty.
