umm that wasnt my problem.. i fixed it in the end.. this was the new problem:

okies well in time i fixed it myself, now however, i have a different problem and this time have no clue how to solve as i am not good at forms. I want to make translator 2 be able to just translate my site only be clickin and selectin a language to view it in. So for text input for url i want to put in [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] make that default and hidden so users cannot change it. Also want to make subject general.. as default and hidden. Also same with source.. make it default and hidden and pls remove the text translator part within this. So in effect all i will have is one drop down for users to see and they can then just click and drop to select which language to view my page in. I also suggest when complete u could put it in Post Your Scripts forum. Pls post me back src code once u have that complete and then I can just change the look of it to match my site... ty.

P.S. I was not being rude, its just that post was there for ages and just wanted to know if someone was working on it.. and if they were they could just say yes.. so i could stop posting "hello?" the whole time lol! Dont get angry @ me.. i meant no harm! :???:

well at least someone could give me a kick start.. this has now turned into more of a discussion topic rather than assisting me with some help. All I need is default and hidden fields.. pls give me a line or 2 to show how it is done with my source and I would be most grateful... minus sour grapes.. I am learning alot of things here and u guys are great... in no way would I want to destroy the happiness i get from bein in the codezwiz community.. I have no enemys here.. just wanna lil bit of help.. thanx guys

Bottom line.. how do i make form inputs with default values and hidden from the user?

Concentrate on ONE project, don't start thinking of new things until the first one is solved. Read up and learn, finish the original problem then move to the next. This way, you understand what you want to do and how to accomplish the task.

This string will now be locked as it has no business in this forum.
